The Rondel is a simple disc on the wall, and its whole character comes from the lens. Instead of a bare, glaring point of light, the textured shade scatters the glow into a soft, even circle. At just over five inches across, it is more a piece of quiet wall jewellery than a fixture, made to add atmosphere rather than shout for attention.

The lens comes two ways. Dimple is a field of small, even dimples that give a gently pixelated glow. Potato Chips is a rippled, folded surface that plays the light in a more organic, wavy way. Both soften the light and cut the glare. The one you choose is purely a matter of the look you want on the wall.

This is an accent light, not a task or room light. Its built-in LED gives a warm 3000K glow at around 60 lumens, so it is made to mark a space and add a little atmosphere, in a set down a hallway or either side of a bed. Choose a Smoked, Amber, or White tint to set the mood of the glow.

It is a soft ambient accent at about 60 lumens, warm 3000K — made to add atmosphere, not to light a whole room. The shade is textured acrylic (not glass) on an aluminum body, and the light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy. It is one fixed warm tone and is not dimmable.
It hardwires to a wall box with a built-in transformer, so a licensed electrician is recommended. It runs on 85 to 265V. It is rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms only, so keep it out of bathrooms and damp areas.
