No. The shade is a fluted opaline acrylic, not glass. The ribbed acrylic is what gives the soft, milky, diffused glow, and it keeps the fixture lighter overhead. The top sphere and body are metal.
It takes a G9 bulb, which is not included (one per head), so you can choose your own; a warm-white bulb suits it best. It uses a push-button switch and is not dimmable.
One Head is a single pendant for a focal point; Three Heads is a linear trio on a 27.6 in (70 cm) canopy, ideal over a kitchen island or long table. Both come in all four colours. It runs on AC 110–220V.
