Most fixtures this size hang one bulb in the middle of the shade, which lights the centre brightly and leaves the edges dim. This one carries three, spread inside a 15 in shade, so the glass lights evenly right across and the room gets a broader, softer wash. It is the reason a single ceiling fixture can carry a room here rather than needing lamps to fill the corners.

The shade is pressed into a pumpkin form, ribbed from the crown down to the rim, so light breaks into soft vertical bands rather than sitting flat on the glass. It takes three bulbs on an E26 base, up to 40 W each. Bulbs are not included. Three lights inside one shade is unusual at this size and it is why the glass lights evenly rather than showing one bright spot in the middle.
The maker publishes the shade size as 13 in deep and 15 in across, but does not publish the overall height below the ceiling. If you have a low ceiling or a walkway beneath it, please email us and we will confirm the total drop before you order.
Almost. Glass comes in White, Green, or Clear and the plate in Brass or Black, but Clear is only made with Black. The picker on this page reads what is actually available and greys out the rest. Note also that Clear does not diffuse, so you will see the three bulbs through it.
