Each Lucie body is cut from a single block of natural stone, formed over millennia, so its veining, texture, and depth of colour are drawn by geology, not printed. No two lamps are the same, and the piece you receive is yours alone.

No. 05Because the stone is natural, your lamp will differ subtly in pattern and tone from the photos and from any other Lucie, even within the same stone, which is the point, not a defect. Onyx and travertine can chip, so handle with care; travertine is porous, so keep it dry and dust with a soft cloth only.
What arrives, and what you will also need
We would rather you knew before you ordered than found out on the doorstep. Here is the honest split.
- The wall lampThe natural onyx or travertine body in your chosen stone, the frosted glass globe, the powder-finished metal mounting plate, and all fittings.
- A G9 socketWired and ready for your bulb.
- One G9 bulbA single G9 bulb. It is not included, so add one; a dimmable G9 LED at 2 to 4W, warm white 2700K, gives the softest glow through the glass and brings out the stone's warmth.
- A wall outlet boxThis is a hardwired sconce that fits a standard single-gang wall box, so it replaces a wall light rather than plugging in.
It is dimmable with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible TRIAC dimmer, and is for indoor use only, not bathrooms or wet spaces. Handle the stone with care during mounting, as it can chip. A licensed electrician is recommended; turn the power off at the breaker before starting.

The Lucie comes in three natural stones. Cyan Onyx is a cool green with gold mineral veining, serene and distinctly Eastern. Beige Travertine is a warm Italian limestone with natural pitting and horizontal banding, organic and architectural. White Onyx is a pale, luminous stone with faint grey-cream veining, clean and modern. Onyx is dense and cloud-veined; travertine is warmer and more textured.

Questions, answered
Natural onyx and travertine form over millennia, so no two blocks share the same veining, texture, or tone. The photos show a typical example of each stone; your lamp will have its own unique pattern, which is part of the material's beauty. You can also choose the stone-selection option to confirm your piece after ordering.
Onyx (Cyan and White) is a dense, polished stone with fine, cloud-like veining and a cooler feel. Travertine (Beige) is a warmer limestone with open pores and visible horizontal banding, more organic and architectural. Both are natural and durable; the choice is colour and surface character.
A single G9 bulb, and the bulb is not included. A dimmable G9 LED at 2 to 4W, warm white 2700K, gives the most flattering glow; avoid cool-white, which flattens the stone's colour.
Two natural-stone lamps cannot be identical, but if you order a pair at once we can pick two with a similar feel from current stock. It is for indoor use only, not rated for bathrooms or wet spaces.
