The gold is a matte paint and the plated-gold accents are electroplated, not solid brass, so the tone is warm rather than metallic-heavy. - A ceiling outlet boxThis is a hardwired pendant that mounts to a standard ceiling junction box, so it replaces a ceiling light rather than plugging in.
It is sloped and cathedral ceiling compatible with the hardware included, and the 39.4 in chain can be trimmed to set the drop. It is dimmable with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC dimmer. A licensed electrician is recommended; turn the power off at the breaker before starting.

The form is one clear blown-glass globe held in a banded iron frame: straps run up over the sphere from a pierced band at its equator to a finialed crown at the top, and a cluster of three candle lights sits inside. Clear or vintage filament bulbs look their best here, glowing openly through the glass rather than hidden behind a shade.
