By default, no — and that's on purpose. To save power and avoid a glow on the nightstand, the display sleeps and goes dark on its own, then lights up the instant you tap it or make a sound nearby. It's a sound and touch sensor, not a voice assistant, so it won't take spoken commands.
No. Aurora is a display alarm clock — it shows the time, date and temperature and wakes you with an alarm. It does not project light or gradually brighten the room like a sunrise wake-up lamp. If it's the dawn-simulation light you're after, this isn't that product.
